Conwy Ascent Canoe Race/Tour

The start is from the Beacons Car Park, Conwy Morfa, which is at the end of Beacons Way and can be reached from the A55 expressway junction 17 immediately to the west of the Conwy tunnel. At the top of the slip road follow the brown direction signs to Conwy Marina, and when you reach the marina village follow the Conwy Ascent canoe race signs to the start car park.
If approaching from Conwy town, take the A547 Bangor road out of the one way system within the town walls, and about 1 mile out of the town you get to the A55 junction. Go straight over the bridge at the A55 and follow the road round to the right to the marina village, then follow the Conwy Ascent canoe race signs to the start car park.

For those of you with SatNav enter postcode LL32 8ER and Conwy (Caernarfonshire) Golf Club which is on Beacons Way.

The car park at the finish is at the Adventure Park Snowdonia (was Surf Snowdonia) centre at the north end of the village of Dolgarrog. This can be reached by taking the B5106 out of Conwy at the mini roundabout by the castle. It is signposted to Trefriw. Adventure Park Snowdonia is on the left as you enter the village and is very obvious. Opposite the row of shops, there is a road to the car park which is through the steel gates.

Please do not park outside the shops as they need parking space for their customers.
